While the shoot day is transformative on its own, the finished fine art print collection is one that will be forever treasured. Studio shoots blossom organically over the commissioned time, with priority on getting to know each other better, collaborate, create, and reset as needed. *The Petite Curation is a bite-sized offering that is best for repeat clients who have already enjoyed the Masterpiece Curation or The Unveiling, or for those who prefer a small collection of images that Oscar Catarino will select.

THE MUSE CURATION includes...

1.5 hour Photo shoot with Oscar Catarino on 2 sets.

In-Person viewing experience approximately 2 weeks after the photo experience to review and select images for print.

WHERE WILL MY STUDIO SESSION TAKE PLACE?

Studio shoots are held in the privacy of Oscar Catarino studio.

WHAT IS THE PAYMENT POLICY?

To reserve a studio collection shoot and secure your date, a 50% non-refundable retainer fee is required. Payments are accepted via Zelle, Check or Cash. The remaining 50% balance will be due at the time of your photo session.

HOW DO I BOOK A STUDIO COLLECTION?

To request a studio shoot, please complete the contact form at the bottom of this page. Inquiries will be considered on a case by case basis according to artist’s availability and discretion.

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO PREPARE FOR MY SHOOT?

Each studio collection client will receive a detailed client prep guide to help get in the right headspace for your session. There’s very little tangible preparation required beyond getting a good night’s sleep and having some quiet time before your session. You are a masterpiece as you are.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING TO MY STUDIO SHOOT?

If you will be wearing wardrobe for your shoot, you’ll want to bring that. Think simply. No need for glamorous wardrobe or buying anything new. The studio will provide draping fabrics and sheer fabrics to stylize nude sets, as well as a robe for in-between sets.

DO YOU OFFER HAIR AND MAKEUP SERVICES?

It is encouraged to arrive to your session as your most familiar self, having your skin, hair, body hair, and makeup the way you prefer to be photographed. In efforts to ensure that our clients feel most like themselves and to support the message of not needing a makeover transformation in order to be photo worthy, we do not provide hair and makeup services.

HOW LONG WILL MY STUDIO SHOOT LAST?

For The Masterpiece Curation, you can expect to be at the studio for between 2-4 hours. This collection is slow-paced and comfortable, allowing plenty of time for get-to-know-you conversation, set changes, and snack breaks as needed. We recommend clients block out the day for this experience to not feel rushed or anxious.

The Muse Curation will have you at the studio for between 1.5 and 2 hours.

The Petite Curation is Kara Marie's bite-sized offering, and clients can expect to be at the studio for just over 1 hour.

WHEN + HOW WILL I SEE THE FINISHED IMAGES?

For both the Masterpiece and Muse curations, an in-person viewing experience will be offered to review and select images together approximately 2-3 weeks after the photo shoot date. The total turnaround time after your in-person viewing is roughly 4-6 weeks for the arrival of the Italian storybook.

For the Petite Curation, your first experience with your images will be in print when you personally collect your storybook.

Within 24 of you collecting your printed art, your matching web resolution files will be digitally delivered to you for personal use. The total turnaround time is roughly 4-6 weeks for the arrival of the Italian storybook.

WILL YOU RETOUCH MY _____?

Based on ethical and artistic preferences, Oscar Catairno’s standard natural retouching process, only temporary blemishes such as acne, scrapes, and bruises will be removed. The image enhancement process involves contrast, exposure, cropping and background clean-up, as well as expert black and white conversions. Should you have any specific requests or questions, these conversations are always welcomed and encouraged.

CAN I BRING A FRIEND WITH ME TO MY SHOOT?

Yes, you can absolutely bring 1 friend along with you to your photo shoot experience. We will ask that friends not interfere with the shoot process , but are always welcome to be encouraging from the sidelines and be a good support in celebrating you.

We do ask that romantic partners not be present for studio shoots, as clients can subconsciously alter their expressions/body language/personalities according to what pleases their partner rather than themselves.
